Objective:

This course will enable the students to -

Familiarize with software MATHEMATICA for numerical computation of the fundamental arithmetic operations using Mathematical software.
Learn various techniques of getting exact solutions of certain solvable first order
differential equations and linear differential equations of second order.
Demonstrate algebraic facility with algebraic topics including linear, Quadratic, Exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions.
Produce and interpret graphs of basic polar and cartesian curves

Students are required to familiarize themselves with software MATHEMATICA, for numerical computation on the following topics:

Finds a numerical solution to the ordinary differential equations.
Solution of first order differential equation.
Solutions of the differential equation with boundary conditions:
Plotting the solution for the First order differential equations.
Solution of first order simultaneous and exact differential equation.
Solution of second order and higher order differential equation.
Plotting the solution of second order and higher order differential equations.
Solution of First order partial differential equation.
Solution of Second and higher order partial differential equation.
Plotting the solution for the Second and higher order partial differential equation.
