Objective: 
This course will enable the students to –
 
The student learns to plan a proposal, develop its methodology, implement the same under guidance of a supervisor, derive conclusions, check their validity/deviation from the standard or expected outcomes and find out the courses of deviation, if any. This component will help to create research aptitude in the students and help them to develop a scientific approach in solving problems related to mathematics.

CONTENTS
 
Students are required to choose a research topic from any field of Mathematics for the project and get it approved by the assigned supervisor from the department. They are required to prepare the project report on the selected topic. At the end of the semester the project report shall be submitted followed by presentation.
