Objective: 

Students are required to familiarize themselves with software MATHEMATICA, for numerical computation on the following topics:

  • Set Operations.
  • Listing, Ordering, Sorting of sets.
  • Generate the first n term of the Fibonacci sequence.
  • Sum of the n-term of series.
  • Finding limit of a series.
  • Convergence of the series.
  • Solution of first order differential equation.
  • Solution of first order simultaneous differential equation.
  • Solution of second order differential equation.
  • Solution of higher order differential equation.
  • Solution of First order partial differential equation.
  • Construct a matrix form an expression.
  • Matrix operations.
  • Transpose, inverse, determinant, trace and conjugate of a matrix.
  • Solving linear system of equation.
