CONTENTS

Students are required to familiarize themselves with software, for numerical computation on the following topics:

  1. Calculate maxima and minima for inequalities.
  2. Calculate the solution of Linear optimization problems where the objective function and constraints are all linear.
  3. Optimization by Finding Stationary and Singular Points with plotting.
  4. Calculate the solution of primal and dual problems and confirm both problems have the same solution for feasible and bounded cases.
  5. Calculate solution of primal and dual problems for unbounded and infeasible solutions.
