Practical
This course will enable the students to –
- Familiarize with software MATLAB, for numerical computation of the fundamental arithmetic
operations. - Compute the fundamental concepts of single variable and multivariable calculus.
- Demonstrate the operations on vectors and matrices.

Students are required to familiarize themselves with software MATLAB, for numerical computation on the following topics:
- Introduction and syntax to find the distance between two vectors in Matlab.
- Types of spaces like null space, product spaces and their examples.
- To generate the set of polynomials as an example in vector space.
- Examples of linear space and coordinates of vectors with Examples.
- Determining linear independence of a set of vectors.
- Rank of a matrix, Rank with tolerance.
- Application to independent chemical reactions, choosing independent reactions.
- Basis of a vector space.
- Coordinates of vectors.
- Operations on vector spaces.
