IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur, a Remote Centre of IIT Bombay outreach programme is organizIIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur, a Remote Centre of IIT Bombay outreach programme is organizing a one day workshop on Scilab to be held on Saturday, 4 May 2019 from 9.30 AM to 6.00 PM. Scilab is a Free/Libre and Open Source Software (FLOSS), created mainly for numerical computations and has user friendly interface similar to Matlab. This workshop will be conducted under the aegis of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission for Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT) in a blended approach, using both live video conferencing facility (A-VIEW) and Hands-on sessions at the remote centre.
Interested faculties, who wish to participate are required to submit a letter of intent to the undersigned, on the basis of which due permission will be given by the Vice Chancellor. The candidate can register after having taken due permission. . Faculties can register online by creating user account on IITB-NMEICT website and making online payment of Rs.100/- to IIT Bombay and offline payment of Rs 400/- to the remote center (IIS) for A-VIEW interaction session. Please note the last date of the registration is April 30, 2019 before 12:30 p.m. E certificate will be provided to the participants by IIT Bombay after successful completion of the workshop.
