The Department of Mathematics Organised a Mathematics Quiz named MathHunt for Mathematics students. On 08/01/18, the entrance test was conducted, in which 147 students participated. Time of test was 11.00-12:00 pm and result was declared on the same day at 2 pm. Total 20 students were selected (10 from 2ndsem , 5 from 4thsem and 5 from 6thsem). 5 team were made among these students, each team consisted of 4 students.

On 09/01/18 program started at 10.30 am. Program was hosted by Kratika Mamtani (B.Scsem 2nd ) , Rishika Jain(M.ScPrev) and Judged by Dr. Sanjay Kedia , Chief Guest of the program was Prof Pradeep Bhatnagar, Prof.K.S.Sharma. The program was scheduled in 4 rounds.1st Round-This round had 25 questions; each team got 5 questions. The time for answering is 90 seconds. Unanswered question will transfer to the audience.2nd Round- It was Visual Round in which 5 visual is shown to each team and they have to answer if they cannot answer the question it is asked from audience. After this round 1 team is eliminate 3rd Round-This round has 12 questions. Unanswered questions were not passed, and it was transfer to the audience. Time for answering was 30 seconds. 4th Round-This round has set of 7 questions for each team. Time for answering was 15 seconds. After 15 seconds next question was automatically pop up.
