On 27/02/19, the entrance test was conducted, in which 95 students participated. Time of test was 10.30-11.30 a.m and result was declared on the same day at 2 pm. Total 32 students were selected (16 from 2ndsem ,8 from 4thsem and 8 from 6thsem). 8 team were made among these students, each team consisted of 4 students.

On 28/02/19 program started at 10.30 am. Program was hosted by Kratika Mamtani (B.Sc sem 2nd ) , Rishika Jain(M.Sc. Final) and Judged by Dr. Sanjay Kedia .Chief Guest of the program was Prof. Pradeep Bhatnagar, Prof. K. S. Sharma. The program was scheduled in 6 rounds.
Quiz shall have six rounds namely:
Round 1: TAKE YOUR PICK
Round 2: DOUBLE TROUBLE
Round 3: VISUAL ROUND
Round 4: RAPID FIRE
Round 5: LIFE LINE
Round 6: BUZZER ROUND
Round 1: TAKE YOUR PICK
Teams can choose any topic from the given list of 16 topics, once a topic is chosen by first team, it will be removed from the list and the next team can choose from the rest topics only. Time limit for answering the question is 60 seconds. 10 marks for each correct answer. Unanswered questions will passes to the audience.
Round 2: DOUBLE TROUBLE
Prior to a question being asked, a team may choose to double the points on offer. However, if the answer they provide is wrong, there would be a penalty in the form of negative marks.
If team chooses DOUBLE TROUBLE, then for correct answer team will score 20 marks and for wrong answer team will score -5 marks.
If team doesn’t choose DOUBLE TROUBLE, then for correct answer team will score 10 marks and for wrong answer there are no negative marks.
Round 3: VISUAL ROUND
This round has 12 questions; each team shall get 2 questions. Each question carries 10 marks and the time for answering is 30 seconds. The unanswered questions can be answered by any other teams through buzzer within next 5 seconds and carry 5 marks. No second chance.
Round 4: RAPID FIRE
This round has set of 5 questions for each team, each question carrying 10 marks. Some will be easy some will be difficult. Time for answering is 15 seconds per question. After 15 seconds next question will automatically pop up. Only group leader can answer the questions, no second chance will be offered.
Round 5: LIFE LINE
Every team will be asked to answer a question. Two hints may be given (if demanded) for every question for a total duration of 120 seconds.
If correct answer is given without any hint, then 30 marks will be awarded.
If correct answer is given after hint 1, then 20 marks will be awarded.
If correct answer is given after hint 2, then 10 marks will be awarded.
Round 6: BUZZER ROUND
This round has 12 questions. Team pressing the buzzer first will be given chance to answer the question in 30 seconds. Each question carries 10 marks, unanswered questions will not pass, and it will transfer to the audience. No second chance.
