This course will enable the students to -
- Familiarize with software like Mathematica/Matlab for numerical computation of the fundamental arithmetic operations.
- Compute the fundamental concepts of Higher mathematics
- Enhance Problem-Solving skills through programming in different mathematical software.
- Produce and interpret graphs in various coordinate systems.

CONTENTS
Students are required to familiarize themselves with software MATLAB/Mathematica, for numerical computation on the following topics:
- Introduction and syntax to find the distance between two vectors.
- Types of spaces like null space, product spaces and their examples.
- To generate the set of polynomials as an example in vector space.
- Examples of linear space and coordinates of vectors with examples.
- Determining linear independence of a set of vectors.
- Rank of a matrix, Rank with tolerance.
- Application to independent chemical reactions, choosing independent reactions.
- Basis of a vector space.
- Coordinates of vectors.
- Operations on vector spaces.
