The department of mathematics has organised an orientation programme for the new students of under graduate level on 14 July 2016.A Power Point presentation was show cased in front of the students which comprised of the faculties of the department, location of the department, subject – wise credits, scheme of examination, Assessment and Evaluation pattern, Time Table , Meta Campus, Departmental activities/ calendar, Syllabus, Departmental Website, etc. The session followed by a face recognise activity based on famous Indian mathematicians, which was organised by Ms. Meenakshi Singhal. This programme attended approx. 70 students of U.G.. It was taken over by Dr. Rajni Gupta & Mr. Surendr kumar Agarwal for conduction of ice-breaking sessions and team building exercises. Students enjoyed the activities planned by the department and gained an insight about the course and department from the departmental presentation.
