Department of Mathematics has organized a departmental activity on the occasion of celebration of National Mathematics Day on 23ed December 2024.
Objective of the Event: To make student aware about the great mathematician Dr. Ramanujan and their achievements.
Description:
On December 23, 2024, National Mathematics Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, honouring the legacy of mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan by the department of Mathematics. The event featured engaging activities such as math puzzles, quizzes, and interactive games to spark curiosity and foster a love for numbers among participants. Students and teachers alike joined in the fun, making the day both educational and enjoyable while promoting the significance of mathematics in everyday life. The activity was attended by 34 students of various semesters.
Outcome of the Event:
The outcome of the activities includes fostering a positive attitude toward mathematics, enhancing problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, and building teamwork and collaboration among participants.
