Short Term Training Programme on M to M Tools
A two day short term training programme was organized by the Department of Mathematics for all the Under Graduate students on September 28-29, 2018. The first day Dr. Rajni Gupta discussed how we work on different softwares and what is the difference between them. She also introduced how many versions of MATLAB are available, then explained matrix manipulations, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user interfaces, Operations in set theory etc. . The second day Dr. Ekta Mittal explained about the latest features of the software MATHEMATICA such as machine learning, computational geometry, geographic computation, and device connectivity—as well as deepening capabilities and coverage across the algorithmic world.The total 101 students attended the session. The session was quite informative and will prove beneficial for the students.
